The Gombasec Summer Camp (Hungarian: Gombaszögi Nyári Tábor) is a multi-genre festival and open university, which is held annually in the summer (usually in the middle of July) by university students of Hungarian nationality from Slovakia who study in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary (source: Wikipedia). The camp has a tradition of more than 90 years and is visited by several tens of thousands of young and not so young visitors every year.

In 2023, we organised three events as part of the summer camp:

• “brainstorming” workshop on social entrepreneurship
• “Back to the Future IV” workshop, where Dušan Ondrušek (PDCS) presented the scenarios for the development of civil society in Slovakia up to 2040
• roundtable with Filip Vagačc, Plenipotentiary of the Government of Slovak Republic for the Development of Civil Society in Slovakia. The discussion was moderated by Laura Dittel (Karpatská nadácia)
